iTalki is a company based in Hong Kong that offers opportunities for individuals to earn money by teaching various languages. The languages you can teach include English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and many others. As a teacher, you have the flexibility to set your own availability, price, topics, and duration for your lessons. To be able to teach on iTalki, you will need a reliable internet connection and VOIP software like Skype or Zoom.

To get started, you can register on the iTalki website as a student and then click on the "Become a Teacher" button. If you have a teaching degree, you can apply as a professional teacher. Otherwise, you can still apply as an informal or "community tutor."

As part of the application process, you will need to submit a 1 to 3-minute introduction video showcasing your teaching style and fluency in the language you wish to teach. The next step involves a video interview with a member of the iTalki staff. Please note that it may take approximately 10 to 17 days for your application to be processed.
