A village where kidney is sold as cabbage

It is said that the brokers of Nepal's Hox Village, where kidneys are sold like cabbage, frequent the village and target the poor youth.

Sky News has confirmed in its investigative report that hospitals and brokers who conduct kidney transplants in Asia have focused on this village.

It is said that most of the young people living in this village have sold one of their kidneys for a small amount of money, and it is mentioned in the report that on average, one kidney is being sold for 3 thousand euros.

It is said that brokers deceive these poor youth by telling them that if they sell their kidney, it will grow back, it will not cause any health damage and they can sell it for a lot of money.

It is stated that these middlemen transport the kidneys they get cheaply from this village to India and other Asian countries and sell them at high prices.

It is said that the brokers prepare the kidney transplant through the preliminary examination and prepare a false document pretending that they are the brother or sister of the person receiving the kidney transplant and perform the transplant in the hospital.

It has been stated that Nepalese youths who are tricked into selling their kidneys suffer from multiple illnesses, inability to work, extreme poverty and other harms. One of the most common organ transplants in the world is bought illegally, according to research.

 The report is Al Ain.
